Description

Ever wondered what it would be like to run up the side of a small bluff? Bring up to 5 of your friends or family members for a fun relay up the Scotts Bluff National Monument Summit Road to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of National Parks Week!

The run will begin at the Summit Road gate and finish on top of the summit. The total distance is 1.6 miles with a 6 percent grade at the steepest point. A shuttle is available to bring you back down in case your legs are feeling like jelly.

There is both a running and walking division. You can have up to six positions on each team, or you can be a beast and tackle the entire run by yourself!


Interval Distances 4 Positions at 0.3 miles

2 positions at 0.2 miles


Age Categories A. Ages 20 & Under If the team has mixed ages, B. Ages 21-39 whatever the majority age C. Ages 40 and Above of the team.


Registration Fee will only be $10 a person. Please pre-register your team before April 21. Participants who register ahead of time will be guarenteed a swag pack for the race.

All proceeds will be going back to the Monument for trail and road maintenance.
